French Part 1 — Grades 6-8

Welcome to Elementary French — where language learning becomes fun, interactive, and confidence‑building.

In this lively introductory course, students will begin their French journey through engaging games, interactive activities, and simple conversations designed to make learning natural and enjoyable. They’ll build a strong foundation in vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and phonemes while learning practical phrases they can use right away.

By the end of the term, students will be able to introduce themselves, talk about the weather, answer simple questions, and express basic ideas with growing confidence.

•  Food and Drink

•  Expressing likes and dislikes (J’aime / Je n’aime pas)

•  The negative form (ne pas, ne plus, ne jamais)

Course Culminating Assessment

All About Me Presentation: Students will prepare and deliver a brief presentation in

French, demonstrating their ability to communicate personal preferences and

interests, including favorite colors, foods, seasons, hobbies, and other relevant

topics.

After the first class:  50% credit or 25% refund
