Grade 2-5 Story of the World:

The Story of the World is an engaging, narrative‑driven course that helps young learners discover the past in a way that feels exciting, meaningful, and easy to understand. Instead of memorizing dates or facts, students explore history through stories — meeting real people, visiting ancient civilizations, and understanding how the world they live in came to be.

This course uses The Story of the World, an award‑winning, beloved history series that has helped countless students fall in love with learning about the past. Written by Susan Wise Bauer, this four‑volume program takes an integrated, global approach, guiding students through the sweep of human history across cultures, continents, and eras. It gives children the background knowledge they need to make sense of the world around them.

In this class, students will explore chapters from Volume 1: Ancient Times, journeying through early civilizations and discovering how people lived, worked, created, and imagined thousands of years ago.
