Poetry 5/6

Poetry 5/6:  This is an 8-week, self-paced, independent course where students have 4 months to complete the course material. 

This course includes:  8 hours of recording 

• Recorded classes ( 1 hr each)

• Homework

• Teacher will mark students' homework for the first 8 weeks after registration

• Access to a teacher for questions and concerns

• A chance to hear other students' comments and questions from the live classes

This 8-week course will focus on teaching students how to:

• learn the appropriate terms for analyzing a poem: stanza, verses/lines

• identify figures of speech used in the poem

• appreciate the significance of sensory details in poetry

• compose a response on a given topic using APES strategy
