Nature & Art Workshop

CLASS TIMINGS:  11:00 am - 11:45 am EST

Course Duration:  August 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28 (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays)

  We’ll immerse ourselves in the beauty of the great outdoors as we embark on a creative journey, using natural materials to craft unique and meaningful art pieces. Guided by the inspiring activities in the Nature Art Workshop book, we’ll explore a variety of techniques that encourage observation, imagination, and a deeper connection to the environment. This hands-on experience will not only nurture our artistic expression but also help us appreciate the endless creative possibilities that nature offers.

 

We will do the following activities:

• Painting Rock Art

• Pressing Flowers  

• Log Stamp Art

• Pressed Flower Candles 

• Painting Shells

• Watercolour on Paper

• Garden Mandalas

• Watercolour on Wood

 

A grade 12 artist will teach this class. 

A list of supplies and materials needed for the session will be uploaded to the Google Classroom.
