Urdu Camp Grade 3-5

Urdu Camp is an interactive online Urdu course designed for elementary students who want to build confidence in understanding and speaking Urdu through relatable stories, fables, and guided speaking practice based on everyday topics.

Over four weeks, students will explore engaging Urdu short stories and fables through listening comprehension, vocabulary practice, engaging games, and interactive speaking activities connected to everyday situations.

This course primarily focuses on comprehension skills and oral language development, making it ideal for learners who may understand some Urdu but are still developing speaking confidence and familiarity with Urdu vocabulary.

Course Duration: 4 weeks/8 Classes ( August 2026)

Class Schedule: Tuesdays and Thursdays (August 4,6,11,13,18,20, 25& 27 )

Class Times:  12:30 - 1:30 pm EST

This term, we will cover the following themes all in urdu.

1) The Thirsty Crow

Speaking practice: Urdu numbers, favourite drinks

2) Ahmed’s Winter Day

Speaking practice: introductions, favourite season

3) Maryam’s Large Family

Speaking practice: describing family, why is family important?

4) The Boy Who Cried Wolf

Speaking practice: feelings, telling the truth

5) The Ant and the Grasshopper

Speaking practice: parts of the home, household items, animals in winter

6) The Hare and the Tortoise

Speaking practice: hobbies, talents, and skills

7) My Mom’s Busy Day

Speaking practice: daily routine

8) Vocabulary Review and Student Presentations
