Paragraph Writing Grade 5/6

Please note this class is different from the Paragraph Writing class that was offered in the Fall semester. 

Students who did not take Paragraph Writing in the Fall are still welcome to register for the Winter semester. 

The goal of this 8-week course is to teach students to construct a well-organized paragraph. 

Students will:

• Write four types of paragraphs: Narrative, Descriptive, Expository, and Opinion

• Learn to form a clear topic sentence

• Provide specific details (examples, explanations, sensory details and facts) to support their answers

• End the response with a concluding sentence

• Focus on grammar rules

• Edit their written paragraphs

• Present their paragrahs from their writing portfolio

Dec 20th:  90% refund

Jan 6th:  50% refund

After the first class:  50% credit or 25% refund
